SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Chevy Silverado driven by Jackie Soukup, 43, Dorrance, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just before Niles Road. The pickup rear-ended a 2022 Freightliner semi driven by Sahil Balkishan, 24, San Rafael, California.
EMS transported Soukup to Salina Regional Health Center. Balkishan was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
