RUSSELL COUNTY —A series of small earthquakes shook portions of north west and north central Kansas over the past two days.
Just after 9p.m. Tuesday, the Kansas Geological Survey reported a 2.7 magnitude quake in Rooks County, according to the Kansas Geological Survey.
Since then the KGS reported three additional quakes in Russell County. A 3.8 magnitude quake at 10:46p.m., a 2.8 magnitude quake at 11:12p.m. Tuesday and a 3.4 magnitude quake at 12:14a.m. Wednesday.
There are no reports of any damage or injury, according to the Russell County Sheriff's office.
