RUSSELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Saturday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Kenworth semi driven by 20-year-old Joshua Tait Vopat of Bunker Hill was southbound on 176th at South County Road 10 miles south of Interstate 70.
Due to the fog, the driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the dead end of the road and came to rest in the ditch.
Vopat was transported to the Russell Regional Medical Center by a private vehicle. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
