NEW ORLEANS - The Fort Hays State men's and women's track and field teams combined for five All-Region honors during the 2025-26 indoor season, announced Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

FHSU's All-Region honorees included Annabeth Baalmann and Josiah Ball in the pole vault, Katie Linenberger in the high jump and Emily Diercks McCullough in both the 3,000m and 5,000m.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.

McCullough is now a five-time All-Region honoree after taking home the award in cross country each of the last two seasons in addition to the outdoor 10,000m last spring. The two-time All-American broke the school record in both distance disciplines this season, completing the 3,000m in 9:48.10 and the 5,000m in 16:40.59. A senior hailing from Hoxie, Kan., McCullough will compete in the 5,000m at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships on Friday (March 13) at 5:20 p.m. (6:20 p.m. ET).

This is Baalmann's fourth All-Region award after earning the distinction both indoors and outdoors last season and in the outdoor season as a sophomore in 2024. The senior broke her own school record with a top clearance or 14-1.25 (4.30m) this season, second-best in DII and the best mark in the Central Region this season. The three-time All-American from Colwich, Kan. will compete in her fifth national championship on Saturday (March 14) beginning at 3 p.m. (4 p.m. MT)

Ball collected his second All-Region honor after also picking up the award in the outdoor season as a freshman. The Great Bend, Kan. native cleared a personal best 16-10.75 (5.15m) this season, tied for third-best at FHSU during the DII era. He will compete at his second national championship Friday beginning at 2:20 p.m. (3:20 p.m. ET).

Linenberger collected her first All-Region award after clearing a season-best 5-10 (1.78m) this season, fourth-best in DII this season. She is the top-ranked freshman in Division II and is one of just three first-year student-athletes to rank inside the top 20. The Hays native ranks second on the FHSU DII era performance list and will make her national championship debut on Friday at 3:35 p.m. (4:35 p.m. ET).
