Ellis County authorities have closed Highway 40 between 140th
and 150th Ave. east of Ellis due to blowing dust.

Ellis County Sheriff Scott Braun said the closure is until
further notice.

Dry and windy conditions are expected to create areas of
blowing dust across the region on Tuesday.

Motorists are urged to use caution when travelling and be
ready for changing conditions.
