Kensington resident Nicholas B. Shaffer passed away Sept. 27, 2020, at the age of 23.&nbsp; He was born May 19, 1997 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Richard &amp; Kristie (Vogel) Shaffer.

Survivors include his mother, Kristie of Athol; his daughter, Hadley Mae of Kensington; his brother, Sean of Kansas City, MO; his sister, Marlee Shaffer of Athol &amp; his grandfather, Gene Vogel of Lawrence, KS.

Cremation was chosen.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the United Church of Kensington with Emily Blank Officiating.&nbsp; The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page.

Memorials have been established to his daughter Hadley’s education fund.
