KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Junior golfer Bryce Cowan represented the Fort Hays State men's golf team on the 2021-22 MIAA Academic Honor Roll, released Thursday by the league office.

This is the fourth time Cowan has been listed on the conference's academic honor roll. The Topeka, Kan. native completed his undergraduate degree in management in 3.5 years and will continue to pursue a master's degree next year when he uses his final year of eligibility. On the course Cowan led the Tigers in scoring for the second year in a row with a stroke average of 76.81, including a season-low round of 3-under 69 at the Tulsa Cup (10/25/21).

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. Transfers and true freshman are recognized at the conclusion of the school year, after they meet the two terms of attendance requirement.
