The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported eight new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Friday.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,804 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths.
As of Monday, the University of Kansas Health System reported nine COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed.
