SMITH COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Smith County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Vincent R. White, 31, Marquette, Nebraska, was southbound on U.S. 281 ten miles north of U.S. 36.
The driver lost control of the motorcycle. It rolled and came to rest in the east ditch.
EMS transported White to the Smith County Hospital. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
