THOMAS COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Monday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 2005 GMC Sierra driven by David Eugene Charles, 32, Oakley was southbound on County Road 32 at County Road F. The driver failed to yield and struck an eastbound 2009 Ford F250 driven by Dawn A. Nichols, 57, Colby in the drivers side. After impact the GMC spun into the south ditch. The Ford rolled and the driver was ejected.
EMS transported Nichols to Citizens Medical Center and Charles to Logan County Health Services. Nichols was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
