Monday, March 15, has been declared American Legion Day by Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly.
The American Legion is 102 years old and continues to play an important role in the lives of veterans and their families.
In honor of this proclamation, the American Legion Moore Post #197,WaKeeney, will host an open house, Monday, March 15, from 9 - 11 a.m. Refreshments will be served to help celebrate this special day.
The Moore Post #197 is located at 517 Russell Ave., WaKeeney.
