SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Thursday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Vicki Lynne Doyle, 61, Ellis, was westbound on Interstate 70 five miles east of the Interstate 135 interchange.
The van rear-ended a 2024 Buick Enclave driven by Sharon Hendricks, 73, Bird City, who had slowed for upcoming road construction.
EMS transported Doyle to Salina Regional Health Center. Hendricks was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
