Paul Oren Davis was born at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kansas on March 27, 1946, and died at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas on November 26, 2021.
He graduated from Almena Rural High School in 1964 and joined his father on the family farm. He married Peggy Sue Davis (Anderson) on June 12, 1966. The couple had four children and took over the family farm from his parents. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Sue Davis (Anderson); four children, Tisha Sue Morrical (Davis) of Lindsborg, Kansas; Timothy Oren Davis and his wife Penny of Hays, Kansas; Theodore Clay Davis and his wife Farrah May of Prairie View, Kansas; and Thad Albert Davis of Portland Oregon; eleven grandchildren, Damien Charles Davis (Kylie), Hayley Erin Samford (Luke), Hannah Marie Morrical, Skylar Nicole Denny (Jeremy), Alexander Oren Davis (Sarah), Sydney Marie Davis, Tate Jessie (TJ) Morrical, Arianna Mae Davis, Alleiah Faye Davis, Amelia Sue Davis, and Allysandra Elva Davis; one great grandson, Barrett Clay Davis; and his sister, Linda Lucile Malcolm and her husband Donald,
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Faye Davis, John and Emelia Roeder; and parents, Oren and Lucile Davis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Almena Congregational Church in Almena, Kansas at 11:00 am.
