NW Kansas man hospitalized after 3-vehicle I-70 crash

SHERMAN COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident  just after 2p.m. Friday in Sherman County.

The Kansas Highway patrol reported a 2017 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Adam Keith Streun, 36, Norman, OK., was eastbound on Interstate 70 at U.S. 24 passing a 2011 Buick Lucerne driven by Roger L. Collins, 76, Goodland and a 2014 International semi driven by  Jerome Dale Petz, 50, Colby.

The Buick attempted to pass the International and struck the drivers side rear corner of the vehicle. The International then struck the Ford.

EMS transported Collins to the hospital in Goodland. The other two drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
