KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State continued to receive votes in the first regular season edition of the NABC Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday (Nov. 25). The Tigers are off to a 4-1 start to the season, with their only loss being to Concordia-St. Paul, which is now in the top 25.

The Tigers opened the year with a 65-56 win over a preseason No. 9 ranked Southwest Minnesota State team that has now fallen from the poll. They took a loss to Concordia-St. Paul, which was also receiving votes in the preseason poll like the Tigers. Concordia-St. Paul is now No. 21 in the first regular-season edition of the poll with a 3-0 start to the year. Fort Hays State has won three straight games since that loss to Concordia-St. Paul.

Washburn continued as the only team from the MIAA in the Top 25, holding its No. 2 national ranking after a 6-0 start to the year. Fort Hays State joins Rogers State and Arkansas-Fort Smith as MIAA teams in the receiving votes section.

Fort Hays State plays at home this weekend, hosting Manhattan Christian on Saturday.
