TOPEKA  – KTWU-TV is announcing a time shift for "Election 2026: Kansas Attorney General, an IGI Special Presentation," a live forum that will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 21 in the KTWU studios on the Washburn University campus.

The event will occur at 8 p.m., rather than the previously scheduled 7 p.m., to enable Kansas viewers to watch the Senate debate at 7 p.m. on KSNT, then the Attorney General forum at 8 p.m. on KTWU.

The forum will also appear live on KTWU HD 11.1, livestreamed on YouTube and www.ktwu.org, and be available on demand at watch.ktwu.org.

The Washburn University Political Science Department is sponsoring this forum, featuring Kansas Attorney General candidates Kris Kobach, Republican candidate, and Chris Mann, Democratic candidate. Bob Beatty, IGI host and professor and chair of the Washburn University Political Science department, will moderate.

All forum questions will be pre-selected and/or screened by the Political Science Department. Viewers may submit questions via the KTWU forum livestream on Facebook (facebook.com/ktwu11) and Instagram (instagram.com/ktwu11/). Approved questions will be given to the moderator, who will incorporate them within the discussion and alternate which candidate answers first.

Repeats of this election special will be scheduled through Election Day 2026. Schedule listings are available at www.ktwu.org. The forum also will be available on demand at watch.ktwu.org.
