The Hays After 5 Christian Women’s group has announced it is canceling its meetings for the rest of the summer. The meetings were scheduled for Monday, July 13, and Monday, Aug. 10.
Betty Rupp, the group’s area director, said in an email that the cancellation was due to the recent increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ellis County and the increased number of deaths attributed to the virus in the state.
