THOMAS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Friday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford F750 driven by Earl Hamp, 34, Conyers, Georgia, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of U.S. 24 Junction.
The truck left the roadway to the left, struck a guardrail and overturned. EMS transported Hamp and a passenger Twalanea Hamp, 37, Conyers, Georgia, to the hospital in Colby. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
