Based on the current active COVID cases in Hays USD 489, the school district will be moving to level three of its COVID mitigation protocols.
A 10-day quarantine will be required for close contacts or a return to school will be allowed if a mask is worn and the person is actively monitoring for symptoms.
This will be effective Monday.
