🏐 Tigers fall to UCO in MIAA Tournament opener

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Fort Hays State volleyball team dropped a four-set match against Central Oklahoma in the opening round of the 2021 MIAA Spring Tournament on Friday (April 16), 3-1. The Tigers end the spring season with a record of 3-10 while the Bronchos are now 12-6.

Central Oklahoma took the first two sets 25-17 and 25-16 before the Tigers fought back in the third set. The teams traded the lead several times before Fort Hays State pulled away late, winning 29-27 to extend the match. The Bronchos responded with a 25-19 win in set four, sealing the victory.

The Tigers will now turn their attention towards preparing for the fall season.
