ELLIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Wednesday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford Ranger driven by Jayden Renee Hinrichs, 17, Bloomer, Wisconsin, was westbound in the 2300 block of Old 40 Old. The pickup enter the north ditch, returned to the roadway where driver overcorrected. The pickup traveled back into the north ditch broadside and rolled.
EMS transported Hinrichs to Hays Medical Center. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
