Please consider joining Hays City Band for its summer 2022 season under the direction of Hays High School band director, Matt Rome.
The Hays City Band is a volunteer community ensemble that is made of area students, current and retired teachers, hobbyists and professional musicians. All are welcome.
If you’d like to play in the band, rehearsals will take place in Hays Middle School’s orchestra/choir room (if you are unsure where that is, park in the west lot of HMS and there will be signage to guide you in).
Rehearsals will be Mondays in June (June 6, 13, 20 and 27) from 7 to 9 p.m. The band will perform at the Hays Downtown Pavilion this year on the last three Tuesdays on June 14, 21 and 28. All concerts will start at 7:30 p.m.
All three performances are free and open to the public.
