NORTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Tuesday in Norton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Katana M. Schillig, 18, Almena, was westbound on U.S. 36 eight miles east of Norton.
The Jeep traveled onto the right shoulder of the road, skidded back onto the road, traveled into the north ditch and overturned.
EMS transported Schillig to the Norton County Hospital. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
