Kansas woman hospitalized after rear-end crash

SCOTT COUNTY —A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Tuesday in Scott County.

 The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Mitusubishi Eclipse driven by Tiffany A. King, 44, Healy, was westbound on Kansas Highway 4 at Taos Road.

The Mitsubishi rear-ended a 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by Jacob A. Rios, 29, Scott City, who was slowing to make a right turn onto Taos Road. 

EMS transported King to the Scott County hospital.  Rios was not injured. King was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
