The Hays High Indians girls and boys basketball teams begin postseason play Wednesday in the first round of the 5A West sub-state at home in Hays.
The Hays girls earned the No. 5 seed with a record of 15-5 while Goddard finished 9-11 and is the 12-seed.
The boys contest matches the 13-7 Hays boys against the 12-8 Goddard Lions.
The girls game will tipoff at 6:00 p.m. with the boys game at follow at Hays High School.
