Michael Dean Jensen, 70, passed away at the Mary Lanning Healthcare on Monday February 13, 2023.
He was born on November 1, 1952, in Wichita, KS to Wallace and Alma (Tuxhorn) Jensen. He graduated from DCHS in 1970 and then went on to Graduate from the Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland with a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He married Janeil Nicodemus in 1974 where they made their home in Oberlin. He had three stepchildren. He worked most of his career for Koch Oil in Oberlin and then opened his own shop in 1999.
Mike's passion was his cars as he loved taking them to car shows and drag racing them and loved helping others with their cars as well, but his biggest passion was being with his wife Janeil.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Janeil. He is survived by his sister Deborah Overmiller of Goodland, KS; stepchildren, Sherri Ayers-Banks of Olathe, KS, Lori Ayers of Kearney, NE and Mike Ayers of Hays, KS; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin, KS. Burial in Oberlin Cemetery.
