After hitting .538 with two home runs, two doubles, three RBI’s and five runs scored, Tennessee sophomore and former Hays High Indians Dylan Dreiling was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Knoxville Regional.
His efforts helped the top overall seed Tennessee Volunteers to their fourth straight Super Regional.
Over the three game regional Dreiling finished 7-for-13 with four extra base hits.
Dreiling was one of six Volunteers named to the All-Regional team.
Tennessee will host either East Carolina or Evansville in next weekend’s Super Regional. Those two teams play their regional finale Monday.
