Linda Sue (Oliva) Williams, 81, passed away on August 3, 2025, at Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, Kansas. She was born on September 23, 1943, in Woodston, KS, to William and Cleota (Carmichael) Oliva.

Linda grew up in Woodston, KS and graduated from Stockton High School in 1961. She was first married to Melvin Jones, and together they had three children: Shane, Travis, and Shoni. They later divorced, and Linda married Chuck Williams.

Linda had a creative spirit and a passion for arts and crafts. She worked at the A.R.C., taught ceramics classes, and was known for sewing handmade clothing—especially her signature orange camo jam shorts for boys. She and Chuck owned and operated the Midwest Motel in Stockton until 2014. Linda also loved shopping, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Main Street Christian Church in Stockton.

Linda is survived by her sons, Shane (Torrie) Jones and Travis Jones, both of Stockton; step-son, Tim (Jackie) Jones of Hays, KS; granddaughters, Shoni and Malea Jones; and many step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shoni; and her brothers, Lynn and Richard Oliva.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at Stockton Church of Restoration in Stockton. Visitation will be on Thursday, 5-7 PM with the family receiving friends 5-6:30 PM at the funeral home in Stockton.
