PITTSBURG, Kan. - The 24th-ranked Fort Hays State women's track and field team collected an additional 10.5 team points on day two of the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Championships Saturday (May 2), holding steady in fourth place in the team standings with 27.5 points for the week. Two Tigers placed fourth on the day, with two others advancing to Sunday's finals.
Esther Clark-Pavlovich finished in fourth place in the 3,000m steeplechase, adding five points to FHSU's team total. The freshman completed the race in 11:05.98, second-best on the FHSU DII era performance chart and nearly five seconds faster than her previous season's best.
Natalee North placed fourth in the discus, also turning in five team points for the Tigers. The freshman recorded a national-qualifying toss of 156-8 on her fifth attempt.
Donna Jackson placed eighth in the 100m hurdles prelims to advance to Sunday's finals with a time of 14.50, 10th-best at FHSU during the DII era.
Taylor Hoskinson secured the ninth and final spot in the 800m finals after running the prelims in 2:17.37.
Katie Linenberger tied for eighth in the high jump after clearing the 5-3.5 bar on her first attempt, chipping in 0.5 team points.
The Tigers will wrap up the conference meet on Sunday (May 3), with field events beginning at 11 a.m. and track events starting at 2 p.m.
