Shirley Ann McGee, 84, passed away October 22, 2020 at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born October 23, 1935 in Linn, Kansas. The daughter of Vergil Samuel and Edna Marie Peterson Hanna, she was one of fifteen children.
A longtime area resident she worked at Alco in Larned. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed fishing, bingo, embroidery, and going to the casinos. She loved cats, especially her own, and she was a collector of many things.
On July 18, 1959 she married Kenneth “Bud” McGee in San Bernardino, California; he preceded her in death on October 11, 2002.
Survivors include: two sons, Tony (Paula) McGee, Moore, Oklahoma, Randy McGee, Wichita; daughter, Janda Van Loenen, Lane, Kansas; five grandchildren: Terry McGee, Megan McGee, Jeff Smith, Donnie Van Loenen, and Gayle Van Loenen-Golden; twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Private burial will be in Larned Cemetery.
