City of Hays
The City of Hays Water Resources Department has contracted with Mayer Specialty Services, LLC to conduct sewer cleaning and sewer patching and lining repairs at the locations shown on the above map.
This project began Wednesday, Oct. 6 and should be completed by Nov. 1. Door hanger notices will be placed on homes and businesses affected 24 hours prior to sewer repairs.
During this process, residents may experience a rumbling sound, in addition to the possibility of water entering your sink, bathtub and/or toilet. Sewer lines can develop air pressure or a partial vacuum from the cleaning and repair process. If you will not be home or will be on vacation during this time of sewer line cleaning and repairs, please protect your home by keeping your toilet lids down.
