THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Freightliner semi driven by Lasha Niniashvili, 26, Brooklyn, New York, was eastbound on Interstate 70 at County Road 2 when a gust a wind caused the trailer to swing over and roll onto the passenger side.
EMS transported Niniashvili and a passenger Sabato Tchokhonelidze, 24, Brooklyn, New York to Citizens Medical Center. The driver was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
