Trey E. Loftis, age 27, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on September 15, 1998 in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Richard J. Loftis and Shawna Stewart McQuitty. A resident of Scott City, Kansas from 2000 to 2017, he moved to Commerce City, Colorado and worked in construction and landscaping.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include his one son - Atticus Littlehawk of Dodge City, Kansas, two daughters - Eden Loftis of Ellsworth, Minnesota, Rylee Loftis of Ellsworth, Minnesota, father - Richard Loftis of Scott City, Kansas, mother - Shawna McQuitty Wilder of Larned, Kansas, one brother - Alec Byrum of Katy, Texas, two sisters - Caitlin Robinson of Larned, Kansas, Terrin Stewart of Larned, Kansas, grandparents - Robert and Karen Blair of Scott City, Kansas, three aunts - Michelle and Travis Eggleston of Rose Hill, Kansas, Rachelle McQuitty of Texas, Janean Loftis of Great Bend, Kansas, one uncle - Ryan McQuitty of Texas, three nieces and seven nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents - Bryan and Kerry Laing, and Jimmie Loftis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025 and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
