The Hays High Indian cross country team finished their season at the Rim Rock course in Lawrence on Saturday.
The lone boys qualifier Taevian Maupin finished in 49th with a 17:15.96 time. Jackson Esquibel of Shawnee Heights won the 5A boys race with a time of 15:34.47.
Blue Valley Southwest was the boys team champion.
The Hays High girls team qualified
Arely Maldonado finished off a stellar senior season with a 9th place finish at 19:18.16. Brynn Kinderknecht, Brenlynn Albers, Julia Zadina, Cara Cunningham and Addison Otte also competed for the Indians.
Katelyn Rupe and Kaylie Shultz of Salina Central finished in first and second. Rupe ran a 17:36.11, winning by 22 seconds.
The Hays girls finished 11th as a team. St. James Academy won the girls team title with 68 points.
