RAWLINS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in Rawlins County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Kenworth semi driven by Steven Lawrence Roberts, 67, Goodland, was southbound on County Road 3 two miles south of U.S. 36. The vehicle rear-ended a 1992 Peterbilt semi driven by Sheldon C. Hayden, 34, Pratt, who had slowed to turn into the Cures Feedlot. After impact the Peterbilt semi overturned.
EMS transported Roberts and Hayden to the Rawlins Co. Health Center. The KHP did not have seat belt information.
