Gerald L. “Tim” Adrian, 96, of Colby, passed away Saturday morning, October 3, 2020 at Citizens Medical Center, Colby, KS. He was born July 15, 19124, in Sheridan County, KS to John and Marie (Tucker) Adrian.
He married Mary Lou Wallace on March 9, 1047. Tim tilled the soil to
raise crops and raised cattle in his adult years. In addition; he was
the manager of the High Plains Coop, in Colby, co-owner and manager of
the West Sale Barn, in Norton, KS and was a realtor and appraiser for
Farm and Ranch Realty in Colby.
Tim was a proud WWII veteran and was a lifetime member of the Veterans
of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, serving as commander for both
organizations.
Tim is survived by his son, Gary, of Colby; grandchildren, Brian
Schulze, of Norton, Brandon (Teresa) Schulze, of Norton and Carey
(Brian) Steinhauer, Sutton, NE; great-grandchildren, Adrien Follum,
Sutton, NE, Tymerie and Shane Steinhauer, Sutton, NE and Kadon Schulze,
Norton and sister Rosemary Jordon, of Dallas, TX. Tim will also be
missed by four nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou; parents, John and Marie
Adrien; daughter Rosalie Schulze; brother Duane and Murray and a nephew,
Delma Wallace.
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Baalmann
Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 8,
2020, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby, with burial in Beulah Cemetery,
Colby. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Thomas County
Fair Board, Prairie Museum or the Norton FFA and can be sent in care of
