Ellsworth FFA announced this year’s National FFA Week events, which will take place from February 22-28. The FFA officers have an exciting and fun week planned and hope you will be able to participate in some of our events!
Feb 22: Ellsworth FFA Friends and Family Night: Experience a fun evening full of trivia, speeches, live auction, silent auction raffles, food, and more. See you at the NEW location of the Ellsworth American Legion at 6 PM. Bring a smile, some friends, an empty stomach and possibly your checkbook.
Feb. 23: FFA Skating Fun Night and Meeting: We will be traveling to the Hutchinson Skating Rink. FFA students will have a blast with skating games. We will leave at 5:30 p.m. and be back at 10 p.m.
Feb. 24: Bird House Habitat project: During the day, FFA members will be making bird houses to donate to Kanopolis Lake to rehabilitate their habitat housing around the wildlife area. Sign up in the agriculture room to claim your spot to participate in this community service project.


Feb. 25: FFA Ag Awareness Day: On this day, FFA students will be going to the elementary and middle school to share about a topic in agriculture like how plants grow, life cycles of animals, and more. This will take place during the school day. In addition, the FFA is hosting a coloring contest for children K-2nd.
Feb 26: Community Breakfast Feed: FFA members will serve a FREE community breakfast from 5PM to 8PM. The meal will be in the ag shop. Bring the whole family to eat and we will serve until we are out of food!
Feb 26: Rock Paper Scissors Tournament: The FFA will host a Rock, Paper Scissors competition for all 7-12 grade students. Winners will be crowned during advisory period with the finals occurring in the gym.
Feb 27: The FFA will be hosting an FFA emblem hunt for all students around the school. Winners will receive a prize. Also, it is wear your FFA t-shirt to school or work day! Show your FFA pride. No shirt? Reach out to an FFA officer or advisor to purchase one!


March 3: FFA Pizza Party: FFA members participating in at least 3 FFA week events will be invited to a pizza party during lunch! In addition, new FFA t-shirts will be handed out to those doing at least 2 FFA week events.
Students be listening to announcements for more ways to be involved and opportunities to win prizes for your class and yourself.
