SHERMAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Wednesday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Saturn Ion driven by Edgar Uriel Soto-Lara, 40, Goodland, was northbound on Kansas 27 eight miles north of Interstate 70.
The driver missed his turn, entered the east ditch and turned on to Kansas 27 to make a U-turn. The driver did not see a southbound 2020 Sterling semi driven by Fabian S. Ledesma, 50, Goodland.
The Sterling struck the Saturn, traveled off the road and overturned in the east ditch.
EMS transported both drivers to the hospital in Goodland. They were properly restrained, according to the KHP .
