The Hays High Indians and TMP Monarchs both qualified their girls golf programs for their respective state tournaments earlier this week. Both teams won their regional.
The Indians have qualified for the state tournament for a 19th straight year after winning the Hutchinson 5A regional at the Carey Park Golf Course.
The 5A state tournament will be held at the Salina Municipal Golf Course on Monday, October 21st and Tuesday, October 22nd.

The Monarchs qualified one day later after they claimed the team title at the 3-1A Cheney regional at Cherry Oaks Golf Course. It marks the third time in the last four years the Monarchs have qualified as a team for the state tournament.
The 3-1A state tournament is held in Emporia also on Tuesday, October 22nd.
