INDIANAPOLIS - Fort Hays State Men's Soccer was tabbed No. 1 in the latest edition of NCAA Super Region Rankings, released on Wednesday (Nov. 5). As of right now, the Tigers are in the driver's seat for potential home field advantage in the NCAA Tournament, topping the 12-team list. The Tigers remain unbeaten on the season at 14-0-3 overall and ranked No. 4 in the nation.

The Tigers are one of three unbeaten teams in Super Region 3, joining Lincoln (9-0-6) ranked second and Cedarville (10-0-7) ranked fifth. Ten teams from the Super Region will be selected to the NCAA Tournament, which begins the week after conference tournaments.

Four of the ten teams selected to the Super Region 3 field of the NCAA Tournament will be automatic selections, which includes conference tournament champions from the GAC, GLVC, GMAC, and GLIAC conferences. Fort Hays State is already a lock to host the GAC Tournament as the conference's regular season champion, which will be held Thursday and Saturday (Nov. 13 and 15) at FHSU Soccer Stadium in Hays.

According to the Super Region 3 PDF found at the bottom of the region rankings on NCAA.com, Fort Hays State has the top RPI, performance indicator rating, and best in-region and overall record against Division II competition. The Tigers are tied for the best win-loss-tie percentage in the nation with Charleston (W.Va.).

Joining Fort Hays State from the Great American Conference in the second release of Super Region rankings for the 2025 season is Rogers State and Northeastern State. Rogers State is ranked third in the super region, while Northeastern State is ranked seventh.

One more edition of the Super Region rankings will be released next week before selections for the national tournament will be made following conference tournaments.
