SALINA – The Hays High boys track and field team finished second and the girls eighth at Friday’s Salina Central Invitational at Salina Stadium. The Indian boys scored 91 points and finished six behind first place Buhler.
The Indians won three events, Jaren Kanek in the 100 meters (10.70), Tucker Veach the pole vault (13-0) and Trey Adams the discus (174-1).
Jordan Dale finished second in the high jump (6-2).
Re Green finished second in the triple jump (35-9) to lead the HHS girls.
