Pamela May (Larsen) Cullen

Longtime Goodland, KS, resident Pamela M. Cullen, 86, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at her home in Goodland.

She was born on May 26, 1934, in Columbia County, Oregon, the daughter of Fred J. and Gladys M (Lamb) Larsen.  She attended school through the 8th grade. 

On May 1, 1977, she married Maurice M. Cullen in Elko County, Nevada.  She was a homemaker and loved to garden and work in her yard which won her yard of the month.  She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one brother, three half-sisters and one half-brother.

She is survived by her three children Kurt Childress and Mark Childress of Goodland, KS and David Childress of Florida.  She is also survived by four step children, one brother Charles Larsen of Scappoose, Oregon, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM MT with a Parish Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 PM at Koons-Russell Funeral Home in Goodland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10:30 AM MT at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland with Father Norbert Dlabal officiating.  Private entombment will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 2:30 PM MT at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Memorials may be designated to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
