The National Weather Service in Dodge City is calling for high temperatures to range from the upper-50s to low-70s throughout a windy work week.
A strong south wind will blow throughout the week, sustained at 15 to 20 mph and gusting up to 30 mph. Increased fire risk and blowing dust is expected.
Thursday brings the first chance of moisture to northwest Kansas. There is a 20 percent to 40 percent chance of rain starting Thursday night and through Sunday night.
