The owners of Be Made announced via Facebook today that they would be closing their store in Hays permanently.
The owners cited family reasons for closing the store.
Made Market Co. will continue to operate.
What you need to know about their last months open
Be Made will remain open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ✦ It's inventory will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and they will continue putting out inventory daily as they sort through everything. All unexpired gift certificates will be accepted during this time.

After over a decade of building, growing, and loving our shop, Be Made, we have made the heartfelt decision to close our storefront doors. This choice comes not out of hardship, but from alignment—with our family’s needs, our evolving goals, and the next chapter of our journey. The timing has aligned perfectly for this path in ways we know was meant to be.
While Be Made has flourished beyond our dreams and become a cherished part of this town, our family is at a place where we need more time to be grandma and mom. While it may seem unusual to close a thriving business, we are doing so with clarity and excitement for what’s ahead. Balancing Be Made and Made Market Co., the brand we founded in 2015, has been a rewarding challenge, but we’ve realized that we cannot give both businesses the full attention they deserve. We believe deeply in doing nothing halfway, and with this new direction, we’re choosing Made Market Co. because our true passion is being able to create and design our own line of products. This shift will allow us the flexibility to prioritize our family while continuing to bring you thoughtful, curated collections we hope you’ll love as much as we do.
