TREGO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Wednesday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ram 1500 driven by Richard E. Hubbard, 73, Hill City, was westbound on Interstate 70 at the exit for U.S. 283.
The pickup left the roadway, entered the median, traveled down the embankment between the eastbound and westbound bridges and came to rest against a guardrail on U.S. 283.
EMS transported Hubbard to Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
