Kensington resident Donald L. Suchsland passed away Dec. 30, 2020 at the Downs Care & Rehab in Downs, KS at the age of 82. He was born July 11, 1938 in Smith Center, the son of Merlin & Stella (Gawart) Suchsland.
Survivors include his wife Janet of the home in Kensington; his son Mike of Agra; 2 daughters, Kristi Traffas of Manhattan, KS & Dyann Collins of Alma, NE; 8 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington, with Pastor Lorna Paulus officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the West Cedar Cemetery, Phillips County.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Sat. & 12:00 to 9:00 Sun. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 5:00 Sunday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kensington American Legion or the Church.
