A 52-year-old Hays man has been arrested on a charge of allegedly rape of a minor.
Lt. Brandom Hauptman said the alleged offense involving Jason Raymond Breit took place in Hays. Breit was arrested Feb. 24 in Ellis while returning home.
He was arrested on an alleged rape charge of a minor younger than 14 and an alleged aggravated criminal sodomy charge.
No other details were provided, and the investigation is ongoing. Breit was booked into the Ellis County Jail.
