Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of two new vice presidents, Craig Woolcott and Anne Long, who bring extensive experience and leadership to the organization.

Craig Woolcott has been named vice president of human resources and will lead Sunflower’s human resources, administrative services, and training and talent development teams.

A seasoned executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, Woolcott specializing in strategic human resources management. He has a proven track record of fostering partnerships and leading human resources initiatives that align with business goals. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an ability to drive human resources transformations that enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement. Woolcott is adept at building and mentoring high-performing teams and is committed to fostering a positive organizational culture.

Most recently, Woolcott served as vice president of human resources and administration at J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. He previously held senior human resources leadership roles at ENGIE North America, Air Liquide, and Quanex Building Products Corporation. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Phoenix and earned senior certified professional credentials from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Appointed Sunflower’s new vice president of member solutions and communications, Anne Long will lead the member solutions, marketing and communications, and economic development teams.

Long comes to Sunflower from United Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Savannah, Mo., where she served as chief human resource officer since 2017. In that role, she led the member services, billing, human resources, and safety departments, and focused on enhancing the member experience and operational efficiency.

Long’s leadership was instrumental in driving initiatives aimed at improving United’s member experience, refining service processes, and implementing initiatives to drive member satisfaction and employee engagement.

Prior to her role at United, Long spent nine years as a senior human resource generalist at Northwest Missouri State University. She holds a bachelor of science from the University of Utah and a master of business administration from Northwest Missouri State University.
