RUSSELL COUNTY —A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Friday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Jeep Renegade driven by Danielle Homeier, 23, Dorrance, was eastbound in the 19000 Block Mitchell Road.
As the roadway began to curve, the jeep traveled off the roadway to the right and came to rest after striking the ditch.
EMS transported Homeier to the hospital in Russell. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
