Three Kan. teens hospitalized after car rolls into ditch

NESS COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just before 1:30a.m. Tuesday in Ness County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Chevy Impala driven by Summer Renee Woods, 16, Hanston, was eastbound on 110th road two miles south of Ness City.

The driver lost control. The vehicle started to skid, traveled into the south ditch and rolled one time.

EMS transported Woods to Wesley Medical Center and passenger Hailey Angel Hunter, 17, Lees, Timothy Justice Lees, 15, both of Ness City to the Ness County Hospital. Woods and Lees were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
